Palm Tree Lamp Reviews

When you are looking for a palm tree lamp it can help if you know how others feel about the lam you are considering. That’s why I’ve written up a comprehensive review of the three most popular palm tree lamps.

First and foremost: when it comes to palm tree lamps, taste becomes a large factor. What you will read below is just my opinion on these lamps!

Palm Tree Rattan Lamp

The first palm tree lamp in our line-up is the Palm Tree Rattan Lamp from Furniture Creations. It is made from real rattan rope to add to the tropical feel. It uses a 40-watt bulb (you will have to get that yourself) and it measures 25 1/2″ high (13 1/2″ diameter).

The shade itself is open-weave style. While this does add to the vintage feel, it does mean that the light bulb will show through. This may or may not be a problem to you. I personally do not really care about it. The main surprise from this lamp for me was the price, it looks so much more classy then you would expect for a sub $25 price tag! I can heartily recommend getting the rattan lamp, it’s hard to go wrong for the price anyway.

The second lamp in our overview also comes from Furniture Creations and takes a slightly different approach to the tropical theme: at the base of the lamp you will find three cute, little monkeys. Kids love this lamp! Of course that will not always be the deciding factor for you but there is no denying that it does add to the ‘fun-factor’ of this lamp.

The shade features a stretched animal skin pattern and you can fit a 60 Watt light bulb in it. Like the rattan lamp, it looks much more expensive than it actually is: online you will find it for under $25.

Coconut Tree Candleholders

The third item in our little review is a bit of an odd one out since this ‘lamp’ doesn’t run on electricity but rather on.. fire! That’s right, these two small palm trees are meant to hold candle lights. While they may not be strictly what you are looking for I just couldn’t leave them out. For pure atmosphere you can not really beat these adorable little candle holders. Can’t you just picture yourself, lying on a tropical beach, some palm trees nearby, a torch illuminating the surroundings.. hmm, ok, enough dreaming already! Of course these coconut candleholders are not the same thing as being on an island paradise but they do give your room (or patio!) a very nice feel. I’m sure you will get lots of compliments from friends and family. For under $15 you might as well give it a try.

I hope this review was helpful and remember, you can always just browse through all the palm tree lamps on offer!
